Mellow Deco was set up in 2017 after many years of dreaming and many more years of plucking up courage to do it.  I'd often thought about setting up my own business upcycling vintage furniture (and had a workshop full of furniture for when I did), but the timing never seemed right.  In 2017 I finished a long term contract at the company I had been working at and decided it was now or never. It was scary to strike out on my own after years of working for someone else, but I'm so glad I finally took the plunge …. I love it.  It gives you such a buzz to take a sad, drab, unloved, piece of furniture and give it a new lease of life.

Here at Mellow Deco we love the elegance and glamour of Art Deco and carefully source quality items from the 1920s - 1950s to create beautiful, bespoke furniture that will look fabulous in your home.  Art Deco furniture is more popular than ever and we take pride in finding stunning pieces, particularly 1930s furniture, and making them shine again.
